Where do we start with this? What a day at the beautiful Quaint Country Weddings, Welshpool. We have been lucky to be managing the catering services at Quaint in Trelystan, Welshpool 4 weeks in a row this summer. The venue is like nothing else in Shropshire or beyond. The huge marquee is so elegantly placed on a hill top looking out to untouched countryside.
This venue allows your creativity and imagination run wild and lets you choose your own style of reception space from the traditional Marquee to the alternative - Tipi and Yurts. This particular wedding had both the large open marquee and the most gorgeous, exquisite yurt that looked incredible lit up with fairy lights though out.
Eoin & Ness firstly had what used to be a traditional canapé service. We delivered this on gorgeous rustic boards placed next to their welcome drinks. It included nibbles such as prawns on a creamy pea pesto bruschetta, melon and mango wrapped in prosciutto ham, Cherry tomato, basil and mozzarella skewers, lemon soaked salmon on a cream cheese and cucumber base and mini fresh goats cheese tartlets. All freshly put together on site.
We then provided large round centre piece graze boards to go in the centre of all tables. 14 in total for this wedding! Do not under estimate the size of these!!! They not only look incredible but again are freshly put together just before service.
